All gowns are handcrafted to order. Standard production is 12 weeks. Need it sooner? Select Rushed Order for a 5-week turnaround (+$180 fee).
During your consultation, you’ll meet with Tania Mitakidis, the creative force behind Selene Atelier.
This appointment is an opportunity to explore inspirational concepts and lace variations tailored specifically for your child’s christening gown. Together, you’ll review a wide range of ideas from our gallery and collaboratively shape the perfect design, including custom lace detail, trims, and accessories. You’ll also be able to view other styles and gown options available in our store.
Please note:
These appointments are strictly for custom gown consultations. They are not for viewing our online collection, which can be browsed and purchased via our website. If you’re interested in our ready-to-order gowns, you are welcome to visit us during our walk-in days on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
A $120 consultation fee is required to secure your booking. This fee is non-refundable but will be credited towards your custom gown order should you proceed. Due to the time allocated to each client, no-shows or cancellations will not be refunded.

Your Selene Atelier gown is an heirloom piece, crafted to be cherished and passed down for generations.
- Special Dry clean only by a reputable bridal or couture dry cleaner
- We strongly advise against taking your gown to a general dry cleaner
- Please contact us and we will refer you to the trusted specialist we have worked with for many years
- Handle with care, the delicate laces and embroidery is handcrafted and irreplaceable
